The best, easy Sunflower Seed Rusks Ingredients 1kg self raising flour 10ml salt 10ml baking powder 2 cup brown sugar 2 cup rolled oats 3 cups all bran flakes 2 cup sunflower seeds 2 large eggs, free range 500ml buttermilk 500g butter, melted Method Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Melt the butter. Add buttermilk and eggs, mix together until blended. Mix all the ingredients to form a dough. Allow the flour to hydrate for a few minutes. Spoon into a deep baking dish or loaf pan. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 1 hour and golden brown. Cut into rusks. Don’t worry if they break up, cut along the breaks. u2028Dry out rusks in a cool oven for 4 hours at 100 degrees celsius or overnight in a warming draw. Serve with cup of tea and share with friends ♥️
