Fallout. If you don’t know what that means, it’s when flecks of shadow fall down onto your face. Personally, there is nothing more irritating than getting your complexion on lock and having dark shadow fall onto your concealer. It is one of the many reasons you will always see me do eyes first regardless of the palette I’m using. Taping off the excess powder of your brush can also help. One of the biggest tips to keeping your eye shadow ON your eye is to use a tacky eye shadow primer. There are eye shadow primers that are clear-ish like @urban decay or opaque and neutral in color like @Jason Wu Beauty or @maccosmetics paint pots. I prefer those as a base to matte colors. I like a shimmery base for shimmery shadows and one of my faves is @Laura Mercier caviar sticks. The shade Wild Rose is one of go-to’s. Any of these choices will cause your eye shadow to grab on, prevent creasing, increase wear time AND make the pigment pop! Final tip would be your preference but try packing the shimmery shadow on with either your finger or a dense, synthetic brush for maximum coverage. Hope this helps you! Xo @makeupbymario
